Have you ever felt like something is not good or it could be better? It can happen that in any aspect of our life at some point we need a change, but it also happen, more often that it should be, that we have been so long time in the same situation or doing the things in the same way that we got used to it or we just stay with it.

So despite of we need or we want a change, an improvement or something different, and the voices of the insatisfaction shout to us to do something about it, it does not seem to be easy for us to start doing because we are really comfortable and safe in our discomfort.

In one hand, it can be that we do not know or we are not able to find what we really want, and in case we know it, maybe we ignore how to make it happen or who can support us.

On the other hand, if we know what we want and what should we do, it can be that we do not feel like starting due to the fears, the doubts and the insecurities that we have been acumulating and that are so strong at this time that they do not let us to be brave.

Evenmore, it is so common to find around the people that are going to tell us that it is better to stay like that than doing something different because of the risk that it can bring to us, and far from encouraging us to venture they will advise us to stay in the certainty and the comfort of the known. Even if they do it because they want the best for us, they are, without knowing, not making us a favor as what we really need is to step out of this comfort.

In conclusion, if we really want to do something to feel better or to be close to this that we desire, we should first listen to ourselves before that to the others, and once we have evaluated the change, its risks and its opportunites, we can listen to the others that have already done it and can advise to us from the experience, knowing that we are the only responsible to make it happen.
