Every day when we wake up and open our eyes we start observing everyhing what isa round us and if we do not close them our eyes are constantly perceiving stimulus and are acting like a scanner that works without break.

Maybe because the sight is one of the most common senses that we have and that, without realizing, we use the most, we are loosing the hability of being surprised with all what it can find for us and we do not care so much about the high value that it can bring to us.

For that reason when we close our eyes the other senses become more intense and magnify the sensations that we can experience putting all our attention on them.

Our ear sense is able to hear with no judgement as it does not receive any visual stimulus that can condition it and in the same way it can feel with more intensity these sounds that sometimes we cannot hear due to the distractions.

The senses of touch, taste or smell are also perceived differently and are more intese if our eyes are closed because all our attention is focus in one single sense and this generates higher awareness and perception.

So while the sight is one of the most important senses that we have it is also a big minimizer of the other senses because it is the only one that can alter the intensity of the others.

But there are many other things that we can perceive if we stop seeing what our eyes can observe and we look a little bit further because the biggest things are not those that we can see with the naked eye, as what is truly important is hidden in places where the view does not reach and where we can find big gestures that many times we are not able to see and even if we see them we do not appreciate.
