“Simplicity is the secret of the truly great”.
These words did not leave me indifferent when I casually found them few years ago, and today they still mean a lot because the essential is usually in the small things that we have within reach, which despite of their simplicity, make us happy and satisfied.
Most of the times, less is more, and because of that, to make a small investment in this that really matters, gives us big rewards.
It can be that we need to experience difficult and complex situations to realize about what do we need and so, what can we dispense with.
There is nothing like enjoying with simple things, quotidian moments that make us to feel alive and to appreciate what is the most important. Although many times it is hard to find them and we are wrong when we think that everything is more complicated than it really is.
It is all about making a comparison to analyze and evaluate what do we have and what do we want to have, who are we and who we would like to be, (…) and based on that, we can choose.
It is like when we compare our size or our age with the children to define how big or how old are we, as we find the biggest differences with them, but these differences are not just physical because for them it is really simple to find an spontaneous solution to any complex situation, just like to give the most simplicity to everything we can be worried about.
And also they are who have the talent of teaching us big lessons, as well as to remind these ones that we forget when we grow up.
