Against the current

There are moments in life that without knowing how or when we get lost and the signals that until now showed to us directly the safety way to go through are not reliable for us any more or we just do not want to comply with them.

So, we decide to change the way and to go against the current, we deny the direction we are indicated to follow and we put all our determination to resist the strength that tries to guide us in a certain direction.

It is a display of rebelliousness that comes from us when we are tired of going with the flow and we need to find this that for a long time we are looking for.

We think, wrongly, that walking in the opposite direction to which we have been going until the moment is going to drives us to more convenient or favourable places and so we start an intense ascent through a slope that pushes us to go down.

This attitude instead of helping us to make our own way, it stops us to see and consider the different bifurcations that the passing life offers to us and in which we can find the best option to get the destination we need.

As if we were a heavy stone that clings in the bottom of the river and it seems that nothing can move it, although no matter how much do we resist because there is always a moment when the intensity of the current is so strong that it sweeps along us and sharply it makes us to realize about the course that the things have to follow.

However, if we are receptive and we are willing to discover what it can show us we will be like the leafs that float slightly and the treatment we are going to be given will be more delicate and subtle to let us sail through the route that makes us to flow into our proper sea.
