Patient

Today, to be patient is a virtue, maybe one of the most valuable that we can have because not everyone is willing to wait for something.

There is always time for everything, although time flies. So, hurry up and to anticípate to be, to do or to have something, it is just the result of the wrong belief that if it is not today, maybe it can not be tomorrow.

We live moved by the rush, we want things at the moment, now, and if we have to wait to get them, it makes us impatient so that we give up and we prefer to dispense with them.

Although if this that we want to achieve is something that we really desire, we hasten unconsciously because the idea “why should I wait if I can have it now?", is so assumed that we do not question it.

But, to be the first does not always mean to get the best, because maybe this that we are eager is not so good as we thought or maybe it can be also that the best is coming a Little bit later, and because of being the first we have to pay a higher price.

Because the things that we achieve with effort, dedication and patience are these that give to us more benefits, these that we value more and, so that, these that stay longer with us.

On the other hand, as it is said “which soon arrives, soon goes” or as it is said in one song “You walk slowly because the rush is not good”.

The fact that we have available everything we need and we get, just with a click everything we want, in one side has made our lives much easier, but on the other side, has made us to be demanding and impatient.

We should follow the natural course of things, and as in the nature each fruit has its own season and it needs time to be mature and to be taken then, in the other vital aspects it happens the same. If something is natural it will take place in the proper moment and to make it happens before, is just something so ingenuous as to think that if we move the clock hands the time we are waiting for, will come earlier.

It is said that “Who waits, despairs”. Also that “The patience is the mother of all the sciences”. In my opinion, if we have to wait, it is better to do it in a patient way enjoying with what the wait implies.
